Interior Architecture (Support)
A pursuit of a timeless atmosphere that seeks to transform the site’s own historical layers into a contemporary spatial poetry…
Within Dicle Hökenek Architecture, we, as MOSHU, took on a supportive role, contributing to the design development process and undertaking the preparation of modeling and fabrication documents.
The natural stone textures on the surfaces and the organic lines that curve inward bring a new breath to the structure while honoring its past. The changing rhythm of daylight fractures across the semi-transparent partition surfaces, turning into a gentle dance within the space; meanwhile, the skylights and large openings make the sky, the wind, and the surrounding landscape an inseparable part of the interior.
The calmness of neutral tones, combined with the elegance of curving forms, creates a serene yet distinctive setting, while the subtle gleam of metal details adds a modern accent to this tranquility.
While a seamless flow is maintained between seating, lounging, and circulation areas, each corner offers the user a small, intimate moment of their own.
This holistic approach, in harmony with the spirit of the project, aims to merge the building’s original character with a contemporary interpretation, creating a sensorially rich experience that balances lightness and warmth.
