Concept Project
The design creates a space that highlights the labor and knowledge of women in the production process. It is planned within the library structure located in the Atatürk Nursery, where training will be provided to female entrepreneurs on medicinal and aromatic plants and their processing.
*Designed as a concept project within the scope of undergraduate studies.
The production and learning areas are defined by perforated metal mesh surfaces; this transparency creates a fluid relationship between the spaces, reflecting the rhythm of work in the environment. The open ceiling application and the systems of the old industrial atmosphere further support this.
İIn the space, panels chosen in green and natural tones are balanced with lightly reflective surfaces, while the microcement floors emphasize durability and simplicity. Movable modules and workshop areas that open to the outdoor space support flexible use.
As a platform that supports women's knowledge and creativity, it establishes a balanced connection between function and aesthetics.
